When you make contact with Kids in Need Waikato, we collect personal information from you, which could include:

• your name

• your contact information

• your children's names

• your children's date of birth

• your location

We collect your personal information in order to answer an enquiry you may have, to gather feedback or to provide care packs and ongoing support.

We keep your information safe by storing it in password protected files and only relevant staff or volunteers can access your information.

We will endeavour to collect relevant personal information directly from you. However, where you or your children are clients of another social service agency and are referred to us by that agency, you authorise us to collect relevant personal information from that agency.

You have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong. If you’d like to ask for a copy of your information, or to have it corrected, please contact us at admin@kidsinneed.co.nz, or 027 502 3891.
