In October 2021, Nicole, one of the brave young ladies we support began her braces journey thanks to the incredible generosity of donors. At the time, she had been through more than any young person should, and her smile was something she often hid away. We knew braces would be life-changing, but the cost was far beyond her caregiver’s reach.
An amazing $5,000 donation got her started, with further gifts ensuring her treatment could continue. As Nicole's teeth slowly shifted, something even more powerful emerged - confidence, self-belief, and hope.
In April 2025, Nicole underwent major surgery to extend her lower jaw, enabling her to eat, speak, and smile with ease. It was a huge step, made possible only because people cared enough to give her this chance.
Today, the transformation is undeniable. Nicole laughs freely, speaks with assurance, and holds her head high. Her braces haven’t just changed her smile - they’ve changed how she sees herself and the future ahead.
